Bosco's  sire Gero is a Multi V1 rated dog and was awarded the inaugural National Rottweiler Australia Council (NRCA) National Champion title in 2003 having attained 10 V Ratings and a Pass at a NRCA Breed Survey. In his Specialty days Gero won the Intermediate and Australian Bred Dog classes many times, and won Reserve Challenge Dog under Ottmar Vogel (Germany) from the Intermediate Class.  Unfortunately, Gero had to retire from the Specialty Ring when he tore his cruciate ligament. We chose Gero as the sire for his height, dark eye, substance and bone, and his outgoing temperament. 

Bosco's  dam Isha was Multi V rated and placed several times at Rottweiler Specialty Shows and then we retired her as she didn't like showing but her beautiful conformation has been a real asset to our breeding program nevertheless.  Isha was a medium to large bitch with a very dark eye and mouth, strong bones and substance, strong feminine head and mahogany markings. She had a very smoochie temperament to those she knew and loved, or even any strangers she met with us, whilst also being No. 1 Rott at our place up until her passing at 8½ on 6.2.06.  As she was a housedog for most of her life she has left a big gap but she lives on in her children we have Aika and Bosco, and her newest granddaughter Eeva.

Medium sized, good substance. Medium strength of bone. Alert and quiet. Broad short head, small ears. Dark almond shaped eyes. Very short muzzle. Darg pigmentation of the mouth. On the gums a few light spots, scissor bite. Beautiful upper and under line with strong muscled neck. High withers, correct croup. Well developed chest. Stands wide in front, turns right hand side out. Beautiful angulation. Excellent stock hair. Brown markings, marking on the chest should be more pronounced. Excellent movement.

4 years old male. Powerful head, ears a little high set but a good size. Very good proportion between skull and muzzle. Excellent eye colour. A little cheeky.  Good muzzle and underjaw. Powerful and right build in the front. Very good topline and underline. Very good bone and angulation. The dog is a little short in leg. Moves excellent with a strong back.  Good coat, colours and markings.

Stands correct behind. Hard coat, nice colour in the tan. Well sprung rib. Could be tighter in the topline. Movement good with good length of stride. Graded Excellent.

Good stop, dark eyes, strong cheeks, muzzle of good length, could be a little wider in comparison to skull. Dark pigmentation of lips and gums. Strong neck, good forechest, closed paws, deep wide chest. Straight backline, good croup, middle angles in the rear. Nice coat, a little wavy on back. Very good markings, clear and good defined. Strong rear legs, good muscles. Free and fluid movement with very good actions from front and rear.

Really strong neck, a little loose skin. Good full chest, very strong topline. Very strong and deep underline. Strong bones, well angulated in front and back. Very good and active movement - nearly straight in back but rolls a bit. Good middle fur. Warm colours.

Medium sized ears, could be closer to the head, brown eyes, lips and gums sufficiently dark with pink in the corners. Good width and depth of chest, good angulation in front and rear. Front right foot east/west, coat is slightly long around the neck, with brown markings and lighter in the rear. Good movement, scissor bite, P3 both upper twisted, scissor bite, two testicles.

10½ months old. Medium sized. Compact. Strong bones. Correct substance. Full of life and attentive. Wide skull, very short muzzle of sufficient width. Medium brown small eyes. Dark pink mouth pigmentation - somewhat lighter in the corners. A little throaty. Strong neck and high withers. Straight back with good croup. Wide flanks. Straight in front - turning out slightly on right hand side. Medium brown markings. Strong coat. Ground covering, regular movement with tight back.

4 ½ months old, very well built, with excellent body proportions for his age and size, he has good lines and angles, very good self confidence, he has a very strong masculine head for his age and size, coat is very good a little bit rough at this time on the back, markings overall are very good could be a little clearer on the pasterns, has very good movement for his age and size.

17 weeks. Very good type. Alert. Very good head. Ears well set, nice dark eye. Changing teeth. Pigmentation in mouth could be a little darker. Good in topline. Good chest and breast. Good angulated. Nice strong bone. Stands correct. Nice feet. Coat is at the moment a little wavy. Correct marks, nice colour of the marks. Marks on front feet could be a little clearer. Good movement for his age.
