Sadly, Aika is not able to continue  dog showing due to an injury to her topline (her spine was 'out' in three places despite being raised separately by herself!) which has not improved despite acupuncture and chiropractic treatment for over a year.

ZANDISHA OUR AUDREY
'Yellow Girl'

Owned by Katherine

Audrey was our heartbreaker - She was born 7th and the smallest at 320g, compared to her older sister Crimson Girl who was born first at 520g. We worried she wouldn't make it and thought she might have been conceived at the last mating as she was so much smaller than everyone else.  However, she had a good appetite and wouldn't let her siblings push her away. She had suction on her like you wouldn't believe.  Everyone loved Yellow Girl the most as she just stood out.  She was also very intelligent. She was found wandering down the hallway at 10 days old, despite being the smallest she managed to throw herself out of the whelping box; from then on a  crash mat was installed. She was also the first one to open her eyes (despite being the smallest) and everybody picked her up first as she was adorable.

It was a sad day when we said goodbye to her as she left for her new home, but we were glad she was going to Katherine and her family who are  'doggy' people who adore their pets. But our hearts broke and our tears flowed just a week later when she died at just 9 weeks from toxic poisoning. She was the first Rottweiler we owned and loved that died and we shall never forget her, and still think of her and wonder how she might have turned out.... We will always keep her yellow ribbon.... and there will never be another Zandisha yellow girl for us....
